Designed for unattended and assisted service environments, the Heron 1 mini combines a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen, fast Android performance, and versatile payment and scanning options in one tidy kiosk platform. It is available in single-display and dual-display versions, giving businesses flexibility depending on the customer journey they want to create.
At the heart of the Heron 1 mini is an octa-core processor with dual-core A76 2.0GHz, hexa-core A55 1.8GHz, and an NPU rated at 3 TOPS. That hardware is paired with memory options from 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM up to 16GB RAM + 256GB ROM, helping the system stay fast and responsive in busy customer-facing settings.
The 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display is designed to deliver clear visuals and dependable day-to-day usability. iMin also highlights 10-point capacitive touch, anti-fingerprint glass, and touch input that works even with gloves or wet hands, making it well suited to demanding retail and hospitality environments.
The Heron 1 mini supports 1D barcode and 2D QR scanning and can be configured with different scanner options depending on the application. iMin’s retail scanner option is designed for faster, more reliable reads and also supports MRZ scanning for passports, which can be useful in specialist check-in or ID-related workflows.
This kiosk is built for today’s payment expectations, supporting NFC, SoftPOS compatibility, QR payments, and magnetic stripe card payments. That flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of self-service and assisted-service applications where payment choice matters.
